My dad is truly adorable. He's a straight, white, 60-something Air Force vet. He's a trustee and a deacon in the Mennonite church. He's a big old fuddy-duddy.

And he's caucusing for Bill Richardson because, among other reasons, he's the only candidate supporting transgender-inclusive employment non-discrimination policies.

Huh.

Apparently, no he doesn't. He finds her funny. I explained to him that people who make fun of dead teen-age children and call people fagots are NOT funny.

At least he didn't *buy* the book and got it from the library.

We haven't talked about it (politics being a sore spot with us) but I suspect my parents are supporting Ron Paul. Sigh...
