We're in Beijing.
It's good, but kind of overwhelming.
We (mostly J) have been compiling thoughts on the not-connected laptop upstairs, so you will have to wait for the full story--especially since we're paying 20 RMB each to sit here, minimum. We (again mostly J; there are advantages to being in a sexist country) bargained today for a bunch of stuff and in spite of good prices I think I prefer the American style.
Anyway, here's my lesson of the day: if you're going to a place where the toilets are holes in the ground, ladies, wear a skirt.
Also,
draggonlaady, we went to your house yesterday.
Tomorrow we'll finally have some time on our own, then head home.
