my husband was right

Okay, remember back in November when I got hit by a car?
Remember how you all (everyone except my own husband, who we have no reason to believe wishes me ill) told me to go to the doctor? Remember how reluctant I was? Remember how I turned out to be fine? Remember how it was a hit-and-run, basically, and I never got the guy's insurance information? Remember how I thought it was all done, just a story now?
Then I got a letter from my medical insurance demanding my car insurance information. Remember how my car was three blocks away and not involved in any way? Well, but since I have personal injury protection on my own car, that's where the coverage is supposed to come from for the $200, 15-minute urgent care visit. Which pisses me off because what they have no need to know I even own a car. It's not like I ever drive the damn thing.
So I gave them my car insurance information, but due to an acute phone allergy I never actually called them myself. My fault, yeah, and easy enough to fix, but it's still annoying that I now have the bill for the urgent care visit here in my little hand.
Compared to most people's car accident stories this is nothing, but it's still way more trouble to deal with than it's worth. If I'd known then what I do now, I'd never even have gone to the doctor.
