threatened by a store-bought pie

miss_swampWe're in Texas for Thanksgiving and tomorrow's football game. So far we have seen 3-million-year-old bones, gone out for the traditional Tex-Mex dinner and witnessed an awesome thunderstorm.
And I've baked two pies, 'cause the in-laws don't do that. They also decided to let the grocery store take care of the turkey and stuffing this year. The menfolk went and picked them up while I was in the shower, and came back with a pre-fab box that also included a pre-fab pie. So the table currently looks like this:
Mine are better. Dammit.
