lettuce, tomatoes and herbs, oh my

Aren't they cute? I raised them from seed in a plastic-wrap greenhouse by the kitchen window. Now I have ten bushy, flower-covered plants busting out of their pots and taking over the patio.
The best part is, the seeds came from the $1 section at Target, along with a cheesy little mini-pot: an impulse buy. I got some basil and lettuce that way, too; it's thriving even though the stuff I bought at the garden store never did much of anything. I've already harvested way more than my $1 worth of basil and lettuce. If even one of my tomatoes reaches maturity, I'll consider it a success. I'm optimistic.
Next year, I want to do even more. But I don't think you can grow corn in containers, not even this little:
